The Black Dog Hill Classic Cuvee 2019 represents another fabulous vintage from our vineyard planted on the South Downs. The three grape blend gives a wonderful toasty and energetic finish with wonderful length. A wine to be enjoyed at all times, fabulous.

60% Chardonnay, Pinot Noir 30%, Pinot Meunier 10%

There is laser-like precision here with bright citrus, fresh green apple, exotic jasmine and savoury, yeasty aromas all wrapped around a core of acidic structure.

At the foot of the South Downs within the boundaries of the newly created South Downs National Park, the vineyard is nestled against the 830ft high Ditchling Beacon where the vines are sheltered from the extremes of the British weather and grow happily in true chalky soil, littered with prehistoric sea fossils.
